Come to Worship With Us

Thank you for your interest in coming to pray at Saint Andrew Parish. During this time, reservations will be required to come into the church building. For the immediate future, there will be limited openings and sacraments available. Please read the following details before making a reservation to come to the church building. Above all, we ask for your patience and cooperation as we adjust to these new procedures.

What you should know before signing up:

  • At this time, we are accepting reservations for publicly celebrated Sunday Mass held at 9:00am on Sunday mornings.
  • The best way to connect with Saint Andrew and to pray with us for the foreseeable future will continue to be our weekly “Your Sunday Connection” which you can pray at home and is available on our website.
  • If you are in need of the Sacrament of Baptism or Matrimony, or if you are in need of a Funeral, please contact us at
  • During the COVID-19 pandemic, each liturgical event (such as Mass) can only accommodate a limited number of people. Each person must have a confirmed reservation in order to attend.
  • Because of the scarcity of available appointments, please only make an appointment no more than once every two weeks until further notice. This will allow for other parishioners to attend.
  • If a parishioner does not have access to the internet to sign up for an appointment, they may call the rectory at 773-525-3016, leave a message, and request a request for a reservation. The reservation appointment will be complete when someone from the parish staff returns the call and confirms the reservation appointment.

Before you arrive:

  • Check your temperature. If you have a high temperature, please do not come to church.
  • Stay home if you are feeling ill.
  • Make sure that you bring your own face covering/mask to wear.
  • Please bring a copy of your appointment registration.
  • Do not plan on attending Mass if within the last 14 days you have traveled to a location restricted by the City of Chicago travel bans. To find the current list of restricted areas for travel click here.
  • Use the restroom. The restrooms in the church will be closed except for emergencies.

When you arrive:

  • Please arrive 5-10 minutes early and wait on the spaces marked on the steps outside the front of church.
  • Enter only in marked doorways.
  • Wait patiently to be checked in by a greeter.
  • Keep your face covering/mask on at all times.
  • Sanitize your hands as directed by a greeter.
  • Observe social distancing at all times. Look for marks on the floor.
  • Ushers will direct you to your seat for private prayer
  • If coming for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, you will be escorted to an available priest. After concluding your time with the priest, you will be escorted out of the church. Penance must be done outside of church.
  • Do not change your seats. Children must remain with their parents at all times.
  • Do not make physical contact with anyone during your visit.
  • Visits to any of the chapels, or walking the Way of the Cross, will not be allowed at this time.
  • If you intend on making an offering, consider an online donation at or placing your envelope in the secured donation box. Do not hand anyone envelopes or letters.

After the service:

  • Please take any worship aids or personal items you may have brought with you.
  • Follow the usher’s direction for dismissal from your seating area. Do not leave on your own.
  • Use only the designated exit doors.
  • Do not congregate outside the church doors to speak with others.
  • Continue to wear your mask until you leave the church and are away from any people.

Please Note:

While our parish staff and volunteers will attempt to take appropriate precautions consistent with the advice of public health authorities, parishioners and guests should understand that they assume the risk of contracting COVID-19 anytime they enter a public space since such precautions do not eliminate the risk of infection.

Parishioners are encouraged to download and print the Archdiocesan reopening guide to keep a record of these guidelines.
