Using the calendar below, please make a reservation for an appointment to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
Signing up presumes that the individual making the reservation has read and will adhere to the guidelines found at www.standrew.org/reopenning
When arriving for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, you will be escorted by a greeter to an available priest. After concluding your time with the priest, you will be escorted out of the church. Penance must be done outside of church.
Participants in the Sacrament of Reconciliation are asked to be concise and direct during their confessions. This instruction is meant to keep the spirit of limited exposure to other persons during the COVID 19 pandemic and to allow other individuals to participate in the sacrament as well.
Participants must wear their face covering / mask for the entire period of the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
Participants should not to use the church building for additional time in prayer, visits to shrines or Stations of the Cross, or for lighting candles.
When making a reservation, please know that there will others who will share that same appointment window. It is reasonable to expect that an individual may be waiting for up to 20 minutes before seeing a priest confessor.
Special Note about the Sacrament or Reconciliation:
The Sacrament of Reconciliation should always be available anonymously. This presents a difficulty during our response to the COVID 19 pandemic in which individuals need to be contacted in case an outbreak occurs in a location which they have visited. To preserve anonymity, an individual may register under pseudonym so long as they remember the name when arriving for the sacrament.
Individuals may also use a pseudo-email address in order to preserve anonymity. When arriving at church, a volunteer will ask for a contact phone number which will be kept privately and separately from parish records for 2 months for contract tracing purposes.
