It’s here! Our 125th birthday! We’re planning to celebrate all year long and we want you to come and join us!
Our 125th anniversary will be marked by Hospitality weekends all year long. These weekends are prime times for alumni to come back and share the history that make up this incredible parish.

March 21: Celebrate with a Gala Dinner!

We’re planning a gala celebration for our 125th Anniversary! Join us on Saturday, March 21 for the 4:00 PM Mass in the Church followed by dinner in the Saint Andrew Gymnasium at 5:00 PM.
The Anniversary Mass of Celebration will be led by Cardinal Blase Cupich.
The dinner will be served family style in our gymnasium (1658 West Addison – corner of Addison and Paulina) and will feature dignitaries and past ministers who have served at Saint Andrew. Because this is the largest celebration during the 125th Anniversary year, it will be a ticketed event. Tickets are $25 for Adults and $15 for Children under the age of 18 OR an option to purchase a Family of 4 or more ticket for $75. Children under the age of 5 are free.
Attendees, regardless of age, need to RSVP for the event.
Dinner will be catered by La Villa and will include Chicken Vesuvio, Italian Beef, Penne Pasta with Marinara, Vegetables, Salad and Dessert.

Tell Our History
Be a part of filling our archives so that future generations can now about the history of Saint Andrew Parish too! Our 125th Anniversary Story Corps project invites you to record a story about your experience at Saint Andrew which we will collect, curate, and put out in our parish podcast. There are three ways to participate.
1) Call our office phone, 773-525-3016 and ask to be transferred to our story corps line (extension 337). At the sound of the tone, feel free to leave your memory.
2) Make an appointment with our office staff or a volunteer who will sit with you and record your story and instantly add it to our archive.
3) Record your story on a phone or other recording device and email the file to stories@standrew.org
Give a Gift
Churches grow little by little. First a frame is put in place and later artwork, such as stained glass windows, or murals, are added. In the 125th anniversary of the parish, we are dreaming of something very special. We’d like to install a stone altar into the church to add to its beauty. Help us make this gift possible.
Skate Night 2019
We started our celebrations with a brief warm-up event last summer, Skate Night, was held on June 21, 2019. It was a blast from the past as everyone strapped wheels to their feet and skated the night away in the Gym. Check out the gallery of pictures!
